Despite its tiny size, Greece has always been the pioneer in maritime law: Aristotle Onassis was the first man who had the idea of spreading risks and invented a single-ship maritime company, Greece was the first country in the world which introduced a tonnage tax in 1957. Until today the country provides for quite important benefits to those who is interested to invest into its shipping sector.
In the field of Maritime (Shipping) Law our office supports individuals and legal entities on the following matters:
- legal support of transactions (sale & purchase, lease, etc.),

- assistance for the registration of vessels in the competent State Register, etc.,
